My husband and I stumbled upon a great German restaurant in Harker Heights called Zum Edelweiss. Dan spent 7 years stationed in Germany so he has had his fair share of German food and he gave this one 2 thumbs up. We asked our waitress (who was from Germany) about the restaurant and she said they opened in March and there used to be another German restaurant in that space, but they are not affiliated with them in any way. She also said they will soon have beer and wine available (yay!) and plan to have an Oktoberfest (double yay!).
Zum Edelweiss is located at 708 Edwards Drive in Harker Heights.
I can't pronounce what we had but it was delicious!
Dining alone? Olga and Klaus will keep you company.
